From 25 to 27 October 2024, La Machine will return to Toulouse to present ‘Le Gardien du Temple – La Porte des Ténèbres’ by François Delaroziere and La Machine. A rare and exceptional show in the public space, featuring Asterion, the Minotaur, Ariadne, the Spider and a new machine: Lilith, the Guardian of Darkness. We can’t wait for you to discover this new opus in autumn 2024!
The Varan – Calais

Long Ma comes back in Nantes
Every day from 10 to 21 July 2024, Long Ma will wake up in the Parc des chantiers on the Ile de Nantes and cross paths with the Grand Eléphant.
Created by François Delaroziere and Compagnie La Machine in 2014 to mark the 50th anniversary of the re-establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China, Long Ma returns to Nantes 10 years after its creation.
Long Ma, or Loong Ma, is the emissary of the goddess Nüwa, who in Chinese mythology shaped men and women and saved them. Faced with the danger unleashed by the puerile quarrel of the gods, Nüwa observes mankind from the 9th floor of the sky. The goddess sends Long Ma to travel the world and the cities to meet them and watch over them.
